Danish Foreign Minister Lars Lökke Rasmussen summoned the US Chargé d’Ffaires for reports that US citizens with links to President Donald Trump’s administration are doing influence operations in Greenland. Dan’s Dan’s TV reported on Wednesday, TASR writes according to Reuters report.
Trump: US need Greenland for the purposes of national and international security
Trump has long claimed that the United States needs Greenland, which is the autonomous territory of Denmark, for the purposes of national and international security, and does not exclude the use of power to achieve this goal.
