Police are investigating the circumstances of a fatal accident that happened on Tuesday at the racing circuit in Orechová Potôň (Dunajská Streda district). During the event, a motorcyclist from the Czech Republic suffered injuries to which he succumbed to the spot. Trnava Regional Police and Air Rescuers informed about it on the social network.
„During the motorcycle plant, one of the competitors has fallen for the unidentified causes. Then there was a clash with another motorcycle”The police said. The causes and circumstances of the tragic event are subject to investigation.
A rescue helicopter from Bratislava also intervened on the spot. Four racers were injured. “The most serious injury was suffered by a 29 -year -old racer from the Czech Republic, who had a failure of consciousness and serious injuries to several parts of the body,” said Air – Transport Europe (ATE).
Resuscitation was immediately initiated, which was also involved in the rescue physician. “Despite the maximum efforts of all intervening, unfortunately, it has not been possible to restore basic vital signs and the young man succumbed to his injuries,” the rescuers said.
