Eguated truck hits Vasco’s headquarters in Rio

A load truck lost control on a slope and ended up colliding against the stadium wall from São Januário, Official Headquarters of Vasco da Gamawhere fans focused on buying tickets for the classic against Botafogo, scheduled for the night of Wednesday (27).

Three occupants of the vehicle, including the driver and two assistants, were initially rescued by the fans until the arrival of the Fire Department teams.

The accident happened near gate 19, around 11am, at Rua Ferreira de Araújo, corner with Roberto Dinamite Avenue, in the north of Rio de Janeiro.

According to fans reports, luckily, there was no pedestrian passing on the sidewalk at the time of the collision.

The victims, who suffered abrasions, were sent to the hospital for medical care.
