Criminal expert Eduardo Tagliaferro, who was head of the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) advisory office, confirmed on Wednesday, 27, that he will participate in a hearing video conferencing at the Senate Public Security Commission on the 2nd.
The meeting of the collegiate chaired by Senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL) will be on the same date as the trial of former President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) at the Supreme Court (STF) for attempted coup.
“Confirmed,” wrote Tagliaferro no X (former Twitter), with images of the invitation to the hearing sent by the House Commission. The request was approved on Tuesday, 26. The criminal expert is in Italy and, last week, had the extradition requested by STF Minister Alexandre de Moraes.

As Estadão showed, Tagliaferro has been on social networks, with the support of Bolsonarists, and threatens to expose the scenes of the operation of the Moraes Office.

Tagliaferro has passed from Moraes’s trusted advisor to the TSE to indicted for leakage of messages from the special advice to confront misinformation and, more recently, the boy propaganda of pockets about the alleged arbitrariness practiced by the magistrate.

In addition to Tagliaferro, the senators invited magistrates Marco Antonio Martins Vargas, former Moraes Assistant Judge, and Airton Vieira, who was minister and right-hand man for six years. Another guest was journalist Michael Shellenberger, who is responsible for the publication of the report “Archives of the January 8: inside the secret judicial task force for mass arrests.”
The document produced by Shellenberger was used as a justification for the invitation of former Moraes Office employees. The report brings together messages leaked between Tagliaferro and Vieira and other documents about Moraes’s performance and tries to demonstrate a direction of the minister against pockets.
As they were invited, they have no obligation to attend the Senate hearing.
