Series D Regulation
This year’s series D format is the same as the last seasons. The 64 teams were divided into eight groups. The top four of each group qualified the second phase, which began the knockout.
The competition has five knockout phases: second phase, octaves, quarterfinals, semi and final. The four semifinalists already guarantee at least access to the 2026 Brasileirão Serie C.
The second phase and octave switching was defined by the campaign in the first phase. For example, the 1st place in Group A1 faces the 4th of Group A2 and so on. The winner of this confrontation plays against the classified between the 3rd of Group A3 and 2 of Group A4.
From the quarterfinals, the clashes take place by general campaign in the competition. The best campaign team faces the worst and so on.
In the quarterfinals, the first -time duels will be among the following teams:
