Ukrainian President of Greenský announced a planned meeting of the Ukraine delegation with US officials in New York, dedicated to the end of the war in Ukraine.
The Ukraine delegation will meet the United States representatives on Friday in New York. This was announced on Wednesday by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Greeny. The meeting will be related to the continued efforts of US President Donald Trump to end the war in Ukraine. TASR reports according to AFP.
“On Friday, there will be a meeting with President Trump’s team in New York in the United States,” said Greeding in his regular evening video. According to him, the meeting will build on negotiations in Switzerland, which will take place on Thursday.
New Ambassador
At the same time, the Ukrainian President confirmed that the new Ambassador of Ukraine in Washington will be Olha Stefanišyn, who was the Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro -Atlantic Integration in the cabinet of former Prime Minister Denys Šmyhaľ. In the position, Oksana will replace Makarová, who has been an ambassador to the US since 2021.
