Venice receives international film festival for 11 days

Portugal will be represented, not in the main competition but in the classic category, With Aniki-Bóbó, first film by Manoel de Oliveira, 1942. It was recently restored, in high resolution.

The Venice International Film Festival begins this Wednesday. Over the course of 11 days, the Italian city will receive big names in cinema.

One day to start the Venice International Film Festival, Italian director Paolo Sorrentino appeared by boat with one of the protagonist of the new movie, Anna Ferzett.

Upon arrival at the pier, both greet co-protagonist actor, Toni Servillo.

It is the trio that mark the start of movie sessions.
