Core to defend democracy will be launched in SP – 28/08/2025 – Panel

Formed by representatives of civil society, social movements and left and center parties, the Ulysses Guimarães Center will be released this Friday (29) in an act in São Paulo.

The goal is to be a plural space for debates to defend the inspiration came from the Seeds of Hope movement, from São Paulo, and the Célio de Castro Popular Center, from Belo Horizonte.

About 500 personalities signed the inaugural manifesto, including federal deputies Arlindo Chinaglia (PT-SP), Ivan Valente (PSOL-SP), Luiza Erundina (PSOL-SP), Rui Falcão (PT-SP) and Tabata Amaral (PSB-SP), the ministers Alexandre Padilha (Health), Paulo Teixeira (Agrarian Development) and Márcio França) (Entrepreneurship), former Minister Aloysio Nunes, former deputy José Aníbal (PSDB), José Dirceu (PT) and José Genoino (PT), former mayor of Sao Paulo Marta Suplicy and former Minister Renato Janine Ribeiro.
