The fan who broke into the lawn of Arena Baixada and assaulted goalkeeper Hugo Souza, from Corinthians, was identified and detained after the fact at the stadium in Paraná. The man, who was not named, said he was drunk and identified himself as a fan of Athletico.

A police report was made against the fan, who signed a detailed term. After the act, it was released by the police.
What happened to Hugo Souza?
At the end of the game between Athletico and Corinthians, who ended with Timão’s 1-0 win, a Hurricane fan surprised everyone by invading the lawn and assaulting the goalkeeper of the São Paulo team, Hugo Souza.
The fan was contained by other Corinthians players and soon removed by security. The duel was not over yet, but it was in the final seconds.

Despite the fact, Hugo Souza did not talk about the attack suffered by the player and dedicated the victory to his wife, exposing a delicate situation lived by the couple.
– I would even like to make an outburst, a slightly delicate situation: a short time ago, my wife was pregnant, then we lost our babies and it ended up stirring a little with my head. But I never let it show it to anyone, I never stopped working, performing my work, doing my best and today I can be summoned again to the selection, being able to start like this … So I will devote this match today to her, show her that I will never let her hand, not at that moment, and that in joy we will be together too – declared in an interview with Prime Video.
