Government despite the request of high-ranking diplomats against Israel sanctions

It does not often happen that diplomats and diplomats turn to the public. Especially not with sharp words in the direction of the government of your home country. Thursday morning happened exactly. The situation in Gaza and the handling of this have prompted 26 high -ranking Austrian diplomats – mostly retired, but also a few active ambassadors and former members of the government – to write a letter with a clear statement and clear claims. It is an “appeal to the federal government”. The title of the letter: “There are urgently need to follow actions.”
