The Public Prosecution Service in São Paulo (MPT-SP) obtained an injunction that It prohibits digital platforms to accept content with children and adolescents in artistic activities without judicial permit. The decision is true until the final judgment of the action.

In the decision, Judge Juliana Petenate Salles stressed that exposing minors on the internet for profit purposes, without proper judicial assessment, “generates serious and immediate risks” and can cause irreversible damage.

The public civil action, filed by the MPT last Monday (25), targets Facebook and Instagram.

The agency calls for the condemnation of companies to pay R $ 50 million in collective moral damages and the adoption of measures to curb irregular artistic labor, such as the creation of filters that identify content without permit and the inclusion of specific rules in their use policies.

According to the MPT, the initiative does not seek to prevent the participation of children in artistic productions, but ensure that this occurs within the legal limits. The agency states that platforms profit from monetizing child influencers, but do not adopt appropriate prevention measures.

In case of non -compliance with the decision, the forecast fine is $ 50,000 per day.

A CNN He sought the goal and awaits return on the decision.
