“If he studied a little, if he stopped wanting to be a humble false and actually hitting his foot, he would know that we have another mechanism to sell our products,” Lula continued. “At the beginning of the century, US exports meant 20% of Brazilian exports. Today they mean 12%. Of these 12%, only 4% were taxed, you know, above average.”
The petista also stated that Brazilian trade with is twice the one performed with the United States – it is $ 160 billion against $ 80 billion. According to him, while the relationship with the Chinese generates a surplus of more than $ 30 billion, with the Americans the balance is deficit, accumulating, in 15 years, about $ 410 million in losses.
