North Korean leader will be present at the Military Parade of September 3

China announced on Thursday the presence of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un at the Military Parade in Beijing that will mark the celebrations of the 80th anniversary of World War II on September 3.

Beijing intends demonstrate to the world its military power in the military parade which will take place on the avenue that surrounds Tiananmen Square.

The parade will end a sequence of events, including the summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, which will take place between August 31 and September 1, in Tianjin (northeast of China), announced as “The Greater” since the foundation of the organization on June 15, 2001.

Members of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization include, in addition to the Popular Republic of China, Russia, India, Pakistan, Iran, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Quirgistan, Tajiquistan and Uzbekistan, representing approximately 40% of the world’s population.
