- Oil supply to Slovakia through the Druzhba pipeline has been restored.
- This was confirmed by Minister of Economy Denisa Saková.
Oil supply to Slovakia was restored after last week’s attack on the Druzhba pipeline. Minister of Economy Denisa Saková (voice-SD) informed about it on Thursday. “Delivery of oil to Slovakia through the Druzhba pipeline has been restored! I hope the operation will remain stable and there will be no attacks on energy infrastructure,” she stated Sakova. Whether it is a full restoration of transport did not specify.
Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó said on Wednesday (August 27) on the social network that Ukraine’s attack by rockets and drones on the Druzhba pipeline caused such serious damage that repairs last for several days. The first deputy of the Russian energy minister Pavel Sorokin, the Hungarian minister, informed that after an intensive work a temporary solution was found, so oil supply to Hungary can be resumed on Thursday in the test mode in lower volumes.
