Russia’s night attack with drones and missiles to the capital of Ukraine damaged the European Union delegation building in the city, the European Commission said on Thursday (28).
The delegation team was safe, wrote the president of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, in X. She asked Russia to interrupt her “indiscriminate attacks on civil infrastructure and participate in negotiations for just and lasting peace.”

He injured 38 and damaged buildings from seven districts, Ukrainian authorities said.
European Union commissioner Marta Kos said the block building was damaged during attacks on civil areas.
“Veely condemn these brutal attacks, a clear sign that Russia rejects peace and opts for terror. Our total solidarity to European Union employees, their families and all Ukrainians who suffer from this aggression,” she said.
French President Emmanuel Macron condemned Russia’s night’s night attack on Kiev on Thursday, describing him as Barbarian.
In a publication on social network X, Macron said: “629 missiles and drones in a single night about Ukraine: This is the idea of peace of Russia. Terror and barbarism.”
