The defender Lyanco, from Atletico-MG, does not face Cruzeiro this Wednesday (27/08)at 19:30 (Brasilia), in the first game of the quarterfinals of the 2025 Brazilian Cup, at the MRV Arena. Despite accompanying the Alvinegra delegation to the stadium, the defender remains unable to act, in the process of recovering a muscle injury in the left thigh suffered on August 18.
Lyanco is not even in the bank. He had already been out of the last three games of the Rooster and possibly should only be available for the duel back, scheduled for September 11, in Mineirão.
Last Tuesday (08/26), the player appeared talking to coach Cuca in a photo of Atletico in the field training. However, it was not seen in the images of ball activity.
