In addition, another thousand homes are under construction in the same region, by the Minha Casa, Minha Vida program, in partnership with the Union, with part of the scheduled delivery this year.

The regulation defines how the projects must be presented, analyzed and approved, with subsidies of the Social Development Fund (FDS). For Acre, the definite goal is one hundred housing units in this modality, according to data from the João Pinheiro Foundation, based on the continuous PNAD of 2022.
In addition to the physical works, the state government continues with land regularization programs in Cruzeiro do Sul, Mâncio Lima, Sena Madureira and Brasileia, ensuring legal certainty for families who already live in consolidated areas.
During a visit to the People’s City buildings in June, Governor Gladson Cameli stressed the social impact of the works:
“We are changing the reality of many families. Where before there was neglect, now there is the opportunity to live with dignity. There are more than a thousand houses in progress that will soon have owners. Our commitment is to reduce inequalities and deliver quality houses to the Acre people,” he said.
