Pavol Hammel (76) is a Slovak singer, composer and guitarist, who became famous as the leader of the group Prúdy, who was established in the 1960s and is one of the pioneers of the Slovak bigbit. Their album of election, the bells from 1969 is considered one of the most important in the history of Slovak popular music. In an interview for the weekly, Hammel remembered how the legendary song was created.
