The 13th annual list of Brazilian billionaires, released by Forbes Brasil on Thursday (28), brought 31 rookies. Among them is Iris Abravanel, widow of Silvio Santos, who died last year. She, along with her six daughters, inherited all the assets of Silvio, one of Brazil’s greatest communicators, who, besides owning SBT, still had retail, hotel and cosmetics business.
Billionaire club newbies also have heirs – such as Marcel Herrmann Telles – and executives such as Marcel Herrmann Telles, partner of AB Inbev and 3G Capital.
The full ranking of Forbes has 240 men and 60 women. Among women, only Vicky Safra appears in the top 10 of the richest in the country.

With equity of R $ 29.3 billion, Max Van Hoegaerden Herrmann Telles, 29, is the youngest son of Marcel Herrmann Telles and has taken over his father’s business at AB Inbev, who owns Ambev.
2nd Iris Bird Abravanel and Family

Widow of Silvio Santos, Iris, 77, and his six daughters are heir to a $ 6.4 billion heritage, ranging from SBT to retail, hotel and cosmetics business.
3rd Sérgio Luiz Silva Schwartz
At age 64 and with equity of R $ 4.8 billion, he is a member of the Board of Directors of the Weg engine manufacturer, which is known as the “billionaire factory” as it originated 7 new members to the richest list in this edition.

4th Décio da Silva
Also from WEG, Décio is chairman of the Board of Directors, as well as a large shareholder of the company and son of one of the founders. Its equity is $ 4.4 billion.
