To decide what stance they will take and whether they will support the movement with strikes and marches, they had initially scheduled a meeting for September 1, but eventually the meeting will take place tomorrow after the Prime Minister’s profession, announcing that he would seek a vote two days before.
Although they have not made specific decisions, several trade unions and federations, such as the CGT Chimie and the CGT Commerce, as well as Solidaires, Sud Rail and Sud Industrie, appear positive to support the mobilization, while Jean Lik Melanson has asked the unions to declare a general one.
