The minister (farm) said that operations carried out on Thursday (28) by the São Paulo Public Prosecution Service and, in partnership with the IRS, were the result of Minister Ricardo Lewandowski’s efforts (Justice and Public Security) for coordination to combat crime.
The federal announced this morning the performance of two operations against the performance of criminal factions, such as the fuel and the financial sector, the same day as the São Paulo launched a megaoperation on the same theme.
Haddad participated in a press conference on Thursday morning, alongside Lewandowski and Federal Police Director General Andrei Rodrigues. Haddad said the federal government is giving a coordinated response to organized crime, and that the coordination within the federal government and the collaboration of subnational states intensifies.
“May we set aside the smaller disputes to combat the crime in unison, in a coordinated manner, as a state policy.”
Haddad and Lewandowski mentioned the Federal Government’s initiative of security PEC as a measure to improve the fight against organized crime in a coordinated manner. The proposal has received criticism from governors of opposition to the Lula Government (PT) for, according to them, hurting the autonomy of states.
