Karpatka with a raspberry layer This is a great dessert proposal. Make it for the weekend – certainly after this treat many people ask about the recipe. What will be needed to make a said product? Here is the list ingredients:
For puff pastry:
- 200 g of cake flour;
- 250 ml of water;
- 130 g of butter;
- 6 eggs;
- A pinch of salt.
For pudding cream:
- 1 cube of butter;
- 500 ml of milk;
- 2 packs of vanilla pudding without sugar;
- 2 tablespoons of sugar;
- A few drops of vanilla extract.
Per raspberry layer:
- 350 g of fresh raspberries;
- 3 tablespoons of sugar;
- 1 tablespoon of potato flour;
- 3 tablespoons of water.
Preparation method:
- Get up the pudding cream first. In a saucepan, heat about 375 ml of milk (approximately 1.5 cups) along with 2 tablespoons of sugar. In a separate dish, mix vanilla puddings thoroughly with the remaining half a glass of milk (125 ml).
- Pour the resulting mass into heated milk with sugar. Reduce the burner power to a minimum, add a few drops of vanilla extract and cook for a while, stirring constantly. The pudding should thicken well. When he is ready, pour it into a glass dish and put aside to cool. Also pull the butter out of the fridge so that it reaches room temperature and softens.
- Now take care of the brewed cake. Pour 250 ml of water into the pot (1 cup). Also place 130 g of butter (of course not the one that is intended for pudding). Heat everything on low heat until the butter dissolves and the whole mixture begins to boil. When this happens, turn off the burner and remove the pot from the oven.
- Pour a pinch of salt and 200 g of flour into the mass. Start mixing with a wooden spoon quite intensively, and after a while place the pot on the burner (low power). Cook the whole for about 45 seconds, stirring constantly. After this time, remove the mass from the burner to cool.
- When the mass cools down, move it to the bowl. Prepare eggs before – stick them into a small jug with a spout (this spout should improve egg portion). Then sew the mixer and carefully add one egg to the mass, mixing it for a while each time.
- When the mass for the dough is ready, we can start making countertops to the carp. Smear the plate with dimensions of about 40×25 cm with butter and sprinkle gently with flour (the inner sides also). Spread half the mass on a thin layer. Bake for about 20-25 minutes in an oven preheated to 200 degrees Celsius (without hot air). Control the degree of baking – each oven can differ from each other. When the dough is ready, turn off the oven, light the door lightly for 5 minutes, then remove the dough. Prepare the second top for Karpatka in the same way.
- Now you can go back to the pudding cream. Put the softened butter in a fairly large bowl and beat them with a mixer until it becomes fluffy. Then gradually combine them with a cooled pudding. Pudding mass ready.
- The time has come for a raspberry layer. In a saucepan, heat raspberries with sugar until they release juices. We add potato flour mixed with water. Mix the whole until everything thickens. Then leave to cool.
- We put a pudding cream on the first puff top. We can level it with a confectionery spatula. Then place a cooled layer of raspberries on it and cover with a second top of the brewed dough. Then the raspberry Karpatka will be ready!
Ready Carpathians with raspberries We can optionally sprinkle with powdered sugar or grated chocolate. This delicate, vanilla cake will certainly taste your guests!
