It’s delicious coffee cake You will prepare with three different, intertwining layers. Among them is the dark chocolate-nut mass with a hint of coffee and coffee liqueur, as well as a sweet and salty homemade kajmak. The whole is broken by slightly sour apple-orange jelly. Do not forget to get your favorite biscuits, which will serve as the bottom and translate dessert.
Before you start preparing the dessert, get the right form. We recommend a square 24 × 24 cm sheet metal.
To prepare this recipe, you will need:
Dark coffee mass:
- 200 g of ground nuts (e.g. Italian),
- 200 ml of milk,
- 100-150 g of powdered sugar (at your discretion),
- 250 g of butter,
- 2-3 teaspoons of soluble coffee,
- (optional) 1 glass of spirit or coffee liqueur.
Him is your best song:
- 1 can of condensed sweetened milk,
- 50 g of butter.
Layer with apples:
- 5 apples,
- 2 tablespoons of brown sugar,
- 1 orange jelly.
Do kajmaka mass. Pour condensed milk into a pan with a thick bottom, add chopped butter into pieces and start heating. Stir and cook Kajmak for 20 minutes all the time. The mass should get thick and uniform, and also change its color. Set aside to cool.
Prepare dark coffee mass. Break nuts. Boil the milk and pour ground nuts with it. Mix thoroughly and set aside to cool. Melt the coffee in a little hot water and also cool down. Grate the butter with a mixer with powdered sugar to a fluffy mass. Add the cooled nuts with milk and dissolved coffee to the grated butter. Mix to get a smooth cream.
Jelly-jaw mass Give preparing from peeling fruit, grate it on a grater, add sugar and fry in a pan until tender. When the fruit softens, pour the content of the sachet with orange jelly. Stir all the time and heat until a homogeneous mass is made.
Fold the dough. Dag 24 × 24 cm baking tray. Put it with the first layer of biscuits. Spread the dark coffee mass. Cover with biscuits and fudge. Then spread the biscuits again. Spread the apple layer and cover with biscuits.
