While new audios still appears that denounce corruption in their government, Javier Milei referred directly to the case that keeps Argentina in suspense. The scandal exploded a week ago, when recordings were known in which he reported the payment of bribes around the state purchase of medicines for people with disabilities. President Ultra and his surroundings, who do not usually measure their answers, maintained a striking silence. The president barely rehearsed a general defense of his administration and his sister, denounced. Finally, this Wednesday, Milei talked about Spagnuolo’s sayings: “All he says is a lie. We will take him to justice and we will prove that he lied.”
The ultra -rightist president thus responded to a journalistic consultation of the channel C5n. It was during a campaign tour in the province of Buenos Aires that ended abruptly: for their custodians when protesters began to throw stones and other objects, in repudiation of their presence in the town of Lomas de Zamora, 10 days after the provincial legislative elections.

Criticisms of the Government for the scandal worsened this Wednesday at the National Congress. The Chief of Cabinet of Milei, Guillermo Francos, appeared before the Chamber of Deputies to give his usual management report and, to defend the Executive, appealed to the same argumentation outlined before by Lule Menem and his cousin, Martín Menem, president of the lower house.
From his perspective, behind bribes is Kirchnerism. Francos attributed the accusations to “a political operation” without foundations: “The Modus Operandi Populista, which appears with more force when the elections approach, and that hides the desire to preserve privileges behind the laudable purposes, it is a practice that we are dismantling and of not doing so would lead us to national bankruptcy,” he said.
The session in deputies lasted about six hours and was seasoned – with screams, insults and threats – for the internal disputes of the fractured block of freedom progresses, Milei’s party.
