Operation ready response resulted in the arrest of 2 entrepreneurs who would have financed a scheme ordered by the leader of the criminal faction
The (São Paulo Public Prosecution Service) and the PM (Military Police) a PCC plan (first command of the capital) to kill prosecutor Amauri Silveira Filho, responsible for investigations against the criminal faction in Campinas (SP). The operation arrested entrepreneurs José Ricardo Ramos and Maurício Silveira Zambaldi, from the vehicle transport and trade sector, this Friday (29.ago.2025).
According to the ready response operation, the plan was planned by Sérgio Luiz de Freitas Filho, known as “Mijão”member of “Final Tuning” of the CCP, core of faction leaders. The goal would be to retaliate and weaken investigations conducted by the prosecutor, which has been investigating crimes of drug trafficking, money laundering and criminal organization for months.
Freitas Filho is among the most sought after criminals in the country and, according to authorities, would be in Bolivia, where he operates in the purchase of cocaine and base paste to send to Brazil, controlling the logistics of trafficking.
The prosecution states that the arrested businessmen funded vehicles and weapons, as well as hiring operators to execute the ambush against the prosecutor.
One of the suspects was arrested in the Cambuí neighborhood, in central Campinas, and the other in the Alphaville condominium, also in the city. Judge Caio Ventosa Chaves, from the 4th Criminal Court of Campinas, issued 3 temporary arrest warrants and 4 search and seizure, fulfilled during the operation.

Desiderate to comply with the attributions conferred upon it by the Federal Constitution! ”
