The Federal Police arrested two women in Sao Paulo for trafficking in people who enlisted women for sexual exploitation in Europe. The PF points out that the two are part of a transnational criminal organization responsible for enticing Brazilian women.

In addition to the arrests, held on Thursday (28), there was a search and seizure warrant at two addresses of São Paulo. In addition, the Federal Court blocked financial, real estate, vehicles and crypto assets up to the estimated amount of R $ 8.3 million, corresponding to the profit obtained with the exploitation of the victims.

The PF also seized passports and they are prevented from leaving the country, as well as the authorization of sharing with the foreign authorities.

The investigation began from an anonymous complaint received by the “Communication PF” system, reporting that women were being recruited through social networks with false security promises, financial gains and logistical support to act as prostitutes in Europe.

Upon reaching their destination, the victims were subjected to degrading conditions, threats, financial control and restriction of freedom, characterizing a situation of trafficking in persons and sexual exploitation. They were identified involved in Brazil and abroad.

The demarches revealed that the investigators used codenames on prostitution sites, controlled ads, charged abusive debts, and sent armed individuals to intimidate women trying to escape. There are records of death, private jail and passport collection.
