A man in his 50s, in Vila do Conde, left home last Thursday, just to register the EuroMillions. He ended up leaving the kiosk on his own day, with a million euros in his pocket… but thanks to a scratch.
It happened at Kiosque K, in Mindelo, Vila do Conde. The lucky one, who preferred to maintain anonymity, invested € 5 in EuroMillions and 15 € in the scratch; and the larger investment has even compensated.
As they tell, to (JN), those responsible for the kiosk, the man, in his 50s, had only gone to register the Euromillions. But “spontaneously”, he also decided to buy a scratch of the Fortuna series.

From the machine came the prize signal, but the value was not indicated: “Contact the Santa Casa Games Department.” Which indicated that it was a high amount. And it really treated: one million euros.
This signal appears on the machines whenever values exceeding five thousand euros are concerned, which are only paid directly by the institution.
Carlos Moreiraowner of the kiosk, confessed to JN the joy of the award of the prize in its establishment, noting that in this scratchy series, this It was “the only one million euros prize at stake”.
