When landslide, one person is missing. The extensive crack paralyzed transport, the damaged infrastructure interrupted the connection.
North of the Norwegian city of Trondheim, a large landslide occurred on Saturday morning. One person is unpaved, the rescuers are searching for it, TASR reports according to DPA.
On the E6 motorway and the parallel railway track in the morning, there was a large crack. In the photos from the place you can see how part of the mounted soil slipped into the adjacent lake Nesvatnet.
The Norwegian news agency NTB reported that two houses were evacuated, while at least one car ended up in the water.
One person is missing. The landslide also pulled one other person’s traveling vehicle, but was able to escape itself. Subsequently, she was taken to the hospital, and it was not clear what injuries she suffered. The cause of landslide is also not known yet.
