Pigz moved on the platform R $ 1 billion in 2024; Number of orders rose from 11,000 in 2020 to 19 million in 2024
A startup that unites delivery, events and small business management with a model without commissions, born in Boa Vista (Roraima) in 2020, invoice per year R $ 6 billion.
The company moved on the platform R $ 1 billion in 2024. The number of orders rose from 11,000 by 2020 to 19 million in 2024.
According to founders Laércio Gentil and Leonardo Seefeld, the differential for the big players in the market is the adoption of “Innovative approach”.
Pigz operates with a fixed monthly subscription model. The monthly fee for restaurants ranges from $ 79 to $ 399, without sales commissions.
Gentil states that by not spending profit on commissions, the small entrepreneur can use the company’s full system and save money. The startup estimates that R $ 9.27 million was no longer paid to other marketplaces and remained in Roraima’s economy.
To boost its next phase of growth, the company is in conversations with investment funds in search of a round of $ 7.5 million. This would represent the 1st external contribution of the PIGZ which, so far, has financed its operations exclusively with its own box. The main objective of this capture is the national expansion.
“We are ready to bring the pigz to other Brazilian capitals. The investment round will make this expansion viable, focusing on technology, operation and the signature model that ensures fair prices and stability for our partners in each new square.”says Gentile.
