On Saturday morning (30), a photo showing the United States flag in the White House helped to further boost Donald Trump’s alleged death theories.

Publications on social networks stated that the gesture would be a sign of mourning for the president’s death.

The information, however, does not proceed. According to an official statement, the flag was placed by half a Trump itself, in honor of the victims of a shooting in Minneapolis on August 27.

The measure will be in force until this Sunday (31).

How the confusion began

The half-mutter flag protocol in the United States is actually used in cases of national mourning, including when a president dies.

Therefore, the image was quickly associated with rumors that Trump would have died, which helped inflate the narrative on social networks.

However, this time, the gesture has nothing to do with the health of the president. This is an official tribute to the victims of the tragedy in Minneapolis, as proclaimed by the White House.

Last Wednesday (27), a shooter opened fire inside a Catholic school in Minneapolis. At least 20 people were injured and three died, including the suspect
