The French President reiterated his accusations against the, denouncing the “autocratic drift” and the “revisionist imperialism” of the homologist, calling him “ogre” and “predator.” During a press conference in Toulon with German chancellor, Macron stated that many people, such as Georgians and Ukrainians, realize this threat directly. Macron also announced that he and Merz will meet with the US President, this weekend to address war -related issues in Ukraine.

According to him, the next few days are decisive in the negotiations, and “without an agreement on Monday, Putin will have moved by Trump.” Paris and Berlin added Macron, they will continue to exert “pressure” for new sanctions against Moscow. “We are ready to force Russia to return to the negotiating table” about the war in Ukraine, he concluded.
