The minister of the (Supreme Federal Court) determined on Friday (29) the removal of the senator’s electronic anklet (Somos-ES), in addition to the unlocking of the salary, office and social networks of the parliamentarian.
The revocation of part of the precautionary measures complied with the President of the (-AP), after the VAL request a license from the position for health treatment.
Moraes also revoked the order of night home collection.
In a statement, the parliamentarian’s defense said he received with satisfaction the partial revocation of the measures he classified as “arbitrarily imposed”.
In the decision, the STF minister also reproduced a letter sent by Val the alcohubre citing “respect for the Democratic Rule of Law” and the Constitution.

Val had worn an electronic anklet since August 4, after contrary to a decision issued by Moraes, who had determined the seizure of his passport.

Val is investigated for campaigning on social networks against federal police officers who worked in the investigation into the 2022 and 2023 coup plot. His case led to friction between the legislature and the judiciary. In an attempt to minimize stresses with the Supreme Court, the Senate summit asked in conversations with members of the court to remove precautionary measures that interfere with the exercise of their parliamentary activity.
