The number of positive cases of MPOX in Mozambique rose to 67. The total of suspicious cases increased to 921. There are no recorded deaths and 32 patients have already recovered.
The number of positive cases of MPOX in Mozambique has risen to 67, with one more registered in the last 24 hours in Maputo, with the total suspects rising to 921.
In the latest daily report released, this Saturday, by with data from July 11 to August 29, there is no deaths to record, in addition to a total of 32 recovered.
The case registered in the last 24 hours has been confirmed in Manhiça, province of Maputo, south of the country, is also indicated in the document, which also mention 32 new suspects in the same periodraising to 921 the accumulated total.
To date, health authorities count 67 positive MPOX cases in Mozambique, 60 of which in Niassa (north), epicenter of the disease, Three in Manica (center) and Four in the province of Maputo (on the).

In the current outbreak, in Southern Africa, since January 1, 77,458 cases of the disease in 22 countries, with 501 deaths. The first case of MPOX in Mozambique took place in October 2022with a patient in Maputo.
The National Directorate of Public Health points to the testing capacity that now exists in the provinces, with 4,000 available tests and a thousand for reagent analysis to identify positive caseslike the big change in three years.
