The (National Electric Energy Agency) interrupted the customer service service by Dial 167 because of the budget contingency suffered in June this year.
The suspension can benefit companies by eliminating negative assessments, says the regulatory agencies union.

The interruption was criticized by the Signs (National Union of Regulatory Agencies), which states that the “fiscal asphyxia is a direct result of pressure from the National Congress leaders, especially from Centrão, which requires government spending cuts while blocking initiatives to expand the collection by taxing the richest.”
“The deactivation of 167 silences the voice of the population, eliminates negative evaluations and creates an artificially positive picture for companies in the sector. The result is the demoralization of regulation and the loss of credibility of Aneel before society,” he says.
