Senator Esperidião Amin (PP-SC) filed on Thursday (28) request for the creation of “Vaza Toga”, with the aim of investigating members of the judiciary for alleged political persecution to opponents.
Among the facts that motivated the request are the revelations that Minister Alexandre de Moraes, from, asked one and information to supply the fake news inquiry.

In the request, Amin points out that the CPI has no power to analyze legal acts of Moraes and other ministers of the alleged persecution of pockets. But that would not apply to administrative issues, such as communication with Tagliaferro.
“There have been founded complaints that irregularities did not occur only in the practice of judicial acts: also in administrative management illegal irregularities within the Supreme Court and the TSE have been numerous, as pointed out in the documents produced, even by former courts of those courts,” he said.
The CPI’s request was signed by 29 senators, including Lula’s base parliamentarians, such as PSD, PP, União Brasil, MDB, Republicans and even PSB.
For the CPI to actually function, however, its creation request must be read in plenary, which depends on a decision of the Board of Directors. In addition, parties have to indicate members, which does not always happen.
If you get avenge, the commission may be another pressure instrument of Congress against the Supreme Court, helping to make the relationship between the powers even tense.
