(Reuters)-The United States are denying and revoking visas from members of the Palestine and Palestinian Authority Organization before the United Nations General Assembly in September, the US State Department said in a statement on Friday.
The restrictions mean that Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas will probably not be able to travel to New York to make a speech at the annual meeting as he usually does.
The measure occurs after the imposition of US sanctions on Palestinian authorities and members of the Palestinian Liberation Organization in July, even when other Western powers advance to recognize the condition of Palestinian state.

In a statement, the State Department said the Mission of the Palestinian Authority on the UN would not be included in the restrictions, without going into detail.
