Federal judge puts a brake on the plans for mass immigrants.

The judge rejected Trump plans for immigrants

Specifically, yesterday, Friday, the federal judge rejected the expansion of the “accelerated removal” process promoted by Donald Trump, considering that it violates their rights and poses the risk of incorrect deportations.

It is recalled that the Trump government had expanded since January the use of the “Expedited Removal” process across the country, targeting people in the US for up to two years.

Severe risk of incorrect deportations

Federal Judge Jia Komp found that this expansion poses a serious risk of incorrect deportations as it deprives people of the right to prove their legal presence in the United States of America.

The rationale of the federal judge

In its 48 -page decision, the CCP states that the government has put forward the “remarkable argument” that those who were illegally entered the country are not entitled to any constitutional protection. If this rationale was accepted, he said, “not only the non -citizens but everyone would be in danger.”

The case was heard after an appeal by Make The Road New York, which supports immigrant rights.

The judge clarified that the ruling does not dispute the law of the accelerated removal at the border, but its arbitrary expansion. The decision is a new obstacle to Trump’s plan to deport millions of irregular immigrants, one of the key points of his pre -election agenda.
