The already centenary Rioja winery Ramón Bilbaofounded in Haro in 1924, was acquired in 1999 by the family business Zamora Company, which currently directs its prestigious winemaker Rodolfo Bastida. In its fruitful career, it has been named among the 50 most admired wine brands in the world, according to the famous magazine Drinks Internationalthat places it among the global elite.
One of its most original wines is the Garnacha limited editionof vineyards from the slopes of Mount Yerga, in the Eastern Riojaplanted in alluvial soils, at an altitude of about 600 meters. This garnacha is pure Mediterranean joy, and matures for 12 months in French oak barrels, second and third use, to maintain its elegant fruits.
