YouTube and Fox have reached an agreement to maintain the FOX content available on the streaming platform

YouTube and Fox announced on Friday that the two companies have reached an agreement to maintain Fox News, Fox Sports and other FOX channels available on YouTube TV, following negotiations on a new distribution agreement.

Companies have previously reached a short -term extension to prevent interruptions for YouTube TV subscribers, broadcasts

“We are delighted that we have reached an agreement that retains the value of our service for our subscribers,” youtube said in a statement sent CNBC. YouTube, owned by Alphabet, as well as Fox did not reveal the financial terms of the agreement.

YouTube said on Monday that FOX was asking for payments “much larger than those with partners with comparable content offers.
