The mayor of Cruzeiro do Sul, Zequinha Lima, celebrated the growth of farmers’ participation in the eighth edition of the Flour Festival. According to him, almost 30% of this year’s booths are occupied by producers of family farming.

“When we delivered more than 500 equipment for four years, it was to strengthen the basis of our rural production. Today we see the result: more present farmers and quality products reaching the Acrees’ table,” he said.
Alongside Governor Gladson Cameli, the mayor also pointed out that the fair became a reference in culture, economy and leisure. “The festival is already tradition. Here we show our riches, our gastronomy and still move the local economy,” he said.
