An accident involving a car and a motorcycle left two people injured on Sunday morning (31), at the intersection of Rio de Janeiro Street and São Paulo Street, in the Dom Giocondo neighborhood of Rio Branco.

The victims were identified as the 43 -year -old application Jamil Alisson da Silva and the 63 -year -old passenger Ismar de Souza Ventura. They were on a motorcycle when they were hit by a Sandero model vehicle.
According to information, Jamil was driving towards a neighborhood-center towards Rio de Janeiro Street, when the driver of the car advanced the intersection and collided against the motorcycle. With the impact, the biker was thrown against a pole, suffering fracture in the chest. Already the passenger was dragged by the car, resulting in exposed fracture in the leg (tibia) and abrasions through the body.
Teams from the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) were called and sent two ambulances – one basic and one advanced support. The injured received care at the scene and were sent to the Rio Branco Emergency Room. Jamil’s health is considered severe while Ismar remains stable.

Family members were at the scene of the accident, talked to each other and decided to withdraw the vehicles involved.
