Colombia’s police arrested another alleged involved in the murder of the senator and presidential candidate Miguel Uribe Turbay, Harold Daniel Barragán Ovalle. The attack occurred on June 7 during a campaign act, and the Colombian politician He lost his life because of the shooting.
As reported by the Attorney General’s Office through the social network X, the capture of Barragán Ovalle occurred after the investigations carried out by the authorities. The man is accused of being in charge of planning the attack against Uribe and selecting the minor who triggered the politician. Barragán Ovalle will face charges for “Aggravated homicide, aggravated crime concert, use of minors to commit crimes and firearms trafficking.”
Miguel Uribe Turbay died on August 11, at 39, two months after being shot in the head and leg In Fontibón, a sector of Bogotá. After his death, the Prosecutor’s Office charged the position of aggravated homicide to four people, including Barragán Ovalle.
