Demonstrators in Israel demanded Trump’s aid to end the Gaza war

Thousands of people demonstrated on Saturday in Tel Aviv for a quick end of the war in the Gaza Strip and the release of the hostages that are detained by the Palestinian militant group Hamas. Some called on US President Donald Trump to help in peace efforts, TASR reports according to DPA.

The protesters gathered on the Hostage Square in the city center, where they called again the Israeli government to agree with the agreement on the ceasefire and release of hostages.

Some relatives of the Israelis still detained in the Gaza Strip appealed to Trump to do everything in his power to liberate them. “Trump, write history,” said their big transparent.

Israeli Cabinet is waiting for a meeting

According to the media, the Israeli security cabinet led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will meet again on Sunday. However, the proposal for a ceasefire to which Hamas has already agreed will not be discussed.
