Franco-argerine pilot Isack Hadjar, 20, went to the podium for the first time in his career on Sunday (31) at the Netherlands Grand Prix. He arrived third, behind Max Verstappen of Red Bull and McLaren’s Oscar Pastri.
During the celebrations with his team for the unprecedented result, however, the cup received by the podium was broken.
New to Formula 1, Hadjar was the surprise of the day. He, who started fourth, became the fifth youngest corridor to reach a F1 podium.
The race was won by Australian Oscar Pistri, who also leads the championship with 309 points, just ahead of Briton Lando Noris (275) and Dutchman Max Verstappen (275). Hadjar is the tenth, with 37 points, 15 of them obtained this Sunday. The braisleiro Gabriel Bortoleto, from Sauber, is the 18th, with 14 points.
