Gaza/Jerusalem-the radical Islamic Hamas confirmed the death of its military chief in the Gaza Strip, Mohammed al-Sinwar. Israel had already reported in May to kill him in an attack. According to the army, the body was later identified. Hamas did not provide any information on the circumstances of his death on Sunday. His successor at the top of the group’s armed arm is to become his closer, familiar ISS al-Din Haddad.
