The Attorney General of the Republic, Paulo Gonet, spoke against the request for arrest of Colonel Jorge Naime, from the Federal District Military Police Reserve, for alleged non-compliance with Minister Alexandre de Moraes, Supreme Court (STF).
Naime is one of the former district police summit who are defendants on January 8 and awaits trial. It is monitored by an electronic anklet and is prohibited from using social networks, among other measures.
FENEPE (National Federation of State Military Squares Entities) called for the arrest of Jorge Naime after stating that the colonel used his wife, Mariana Naime, to stay active on social networks.
In two interviews with YouTube channels that are spokesmen on the right and far right, Mariana resorted to an “advisor” that was outside the camera’s framing to remind that in the battlefield of the Three Powers Square. She made home appearances for video conferencing.
For Gonet, it was not possible to see, “with sufficient degree of certainty,” the identity of the person to which the colonel’s wife resorted. The opinion is from Friday (29).
Sought by the report to inform the name and functions of the advisor, Mariana Naime did not respond.
In a note, she stated that there is an attempt to “silence a female voice that dared to expose uncomfortable facts.”
They also said they try to “impute Colonel Naime responsibilities for her speech,” which means “an affront to the constitutional principle of the intranscending of the penalty – no one can be punished by third party acts.”
The reserve colonel.
PGR’s complaint says that he used a “deliberate strategy of removal” from the crisis, which reinforces the “implicit connivance with the approaching violent actions.”
