In the last 9 years, the 1st year of the Government of (2019) was the one that had the most renunciations at the fiscal domicile (21,120).
The numbers, however, fell by 2020, 2021 and 2022. The pandemic may have been the reason for the fall in those years.
In 2020, there were 19,156 renunciations. In 2021, there were 14,440. And in 2022, there were 13,850.
From the first year of Lula (2023) for the 2nd year of the petista (2024), there was a slight high of 1.5% in the number in Brazil. There were 18,822 in 2023 and 19,103 in 2024.
Running to the fiscal domicile means to give up considering a place as headquarters for tax purposes.
