The first phase of Serie C of the. The national competition met the latest downgrades and the teams that follow in the dispute for access to Serie B.

The team led the initial phase, with 37 points, followed by Ponte Preta – SP, Nautical – PE, Londrina – PR and São Bernardo – SP. These clubs were classified for the decisive quadrangular. Guarani-SP, Brusque-SC and Floresta-CE secured their places in the last round.
Between the relegated, Tombense – MG and Retro – PE were decreed. ABC – RN and CSA – ALE ended the competition with the descent to Serie D of the Brazilian Championship.
Second phase
The classifieds for the next phase were divided into two groups of four teams. Following the alternating order of classification, in one of the keys are Caxias – RS, Londrina – PR, Sao Bernardo – SP and Floresta – CE. In the other, Ponte Preta – SP, Nautical – PE, Brusque – SC and Guarani – SP.
The teams face each other in roundtrip games. The first two of each key guarantee access. The leaders of each group compete for the title.
The first round of the second phase will take place between September 6 and 7. The Brazilian Football Confederation will still define the dates of the clashes.
