The (STF) begins on Tuesday (2) the trial of the former president and seven other former auxiliar accused of participation in a coup plot. The sessions, scheduled to start this Tuesday (2), will take place on September 2, 3, 9, 10 and 12, with times distributed between morning (9h to 12h) and, in three of them, also in the afternoon (14h to 19h).

The opening session will be conducted by Minister Cristiano Zanin, president of the collegiate;

Then the rapporteur will read the report, with no time limit, presenting the panorama of the gathered tests;

Soon after, the Attorney General of the Republic, will have the word in oral support, with potentially expanded time, depending on Zanin’s authorization;

After the prosecution, the defendants of the eight defendants will speak, with an approximate period of one hour for each, according to the decision of the Court;

The reading of the votes will take place in the sequence, starting with Alexandre de Moraes and following the other ministers, with no timed limit;

Defendants do not need to be present – they have chosen not to attend in person, claiming to avoid embarrassment;
