Former mayor had already criticized the former president’s house arrest as a “exaggerated” decision
Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Supreme Court, authorized the visit of the former president of the House of Representatives), to the former president (PL), arrested under home. The request was made by the defense of Bolsonaro. Read the decision (PDF – 134 KB).

Surveillance
Moraes decided not to authorize the entry of police inside Bolsonaro’s house. The measure had been suggested by the PF (Federal Police) to reinforce surveillance, in the face of risk of escape, but was rejected by the magistrate.
The minister had determined on the 26th. I have a reinforcement of full policing, 24 hours a day, near the former president’s house in the Botanical Garden. For him, the proximity of the trial on the attempted coup, scheduled to begin on September 2, added to the deputy’s “incessant actions” in the United States, indicates a risk of Bolsonaro escape to escape law enforcement.
